This company makes a quality product and has wonderful customer service! I own a few pair of prescription sunglasses and a pair of non-prescription. They are all great!

I ordered a mystery pair as a second pair.

Upon arrival it's clear that the second pair is smaller than the main pair and so they don't fit. Reached out to customer services and I've been told there's nothing I can do. I read the no return rule but at least expect them to fit.

From Shady Rays, " Our Mystery pairs are selected at random during the order packing so unfortunately the size and style are unknown."

These are basically $2 sunnies rebranded as being quality by giving you a "lifetime warranty". They can afford to give you two replacements (the max they allow) because they are obviously made of very cheap material and fall apart quickly.

It's actually a really smart business model. Just a rubbish product.

I bought Shady Rays to try them out. I ordered the Camo sunglasses and added the $18 dollar option for the mystery pair. The quality is on the low end from the frames to the lenses. I have Maui Jims, Oakley, as well as my favorite which is Costa. If you want something that is slightly better than the gas station sunglasses, well buy Shady Rays. Should you want quality sunglasses....Get Costa, Maui Jim, and Oakley in that order.

I have had several pairs of Shady Rays sunglasses and recently ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses and a pair of prescription glasses. Both arrived earlier than expected and the quality of the lenses and frames were so much better than what my ophthalmologist had to offer. I would love the share my experience with others.

Bought a pair of Shady Rays because their marketing and “hassle free replacement” swayed me. Sadly, my first paid broke after only 2-months. I went through the process to get a “free replacement” pair and the entire process was an overly salesy attempt to get me to buy more pairs. They ended up charging $15 for shipping and “sales tax” on a “free” item. When the next pair arrived, one of the arms snapped off within less than 2 weeks!! This was just from me opening them to place them on my head - nothing extreme. It didn’t even break at the hinge like you would expect, but in the middle of the thickest part of the arm. I am going through the hassle of paying $15 to get one more pair.

The “polarized lenses” also did not block sunlight as well as other pairs I have had. In the end, I will have spent close to $100 for 3 pairs of cheap and low quality sunglasses. Think I would have come out ahead if I had just grabbed a pair from a gas station or big box store.

Or maybe I should have paid attention to the saying that “The bitterness of low quality lingers long after the sweetness of a cheap deal.”

I purchased about 5 pairs of glasses over the past 2 years and really liked the them but they just aren't great quality and last only 3-6 months. I give them full credit for their free replacement warranty ($10 processing which is manageable) but I felt I was using the warranty too often. One pair the film pealed off the lenses after a few months and one pair the frame broke within one week of receiving them causing one lens to not stay in. I had them replaced but it happened again and am just going to try another brand instead of replacing them again. I give them a 4 star since they are great while they lasted and for their replacement policy but I feel they just don't last long enough for the trouble. Oh last thing their deals and coupons were great if you can catch the good ones.

The plastic frames used in your product are cheap and brittle. Temperature changes and general use cause breakage. While your earlier return policy was no cost replacement, it became a continual nuisance to obtain a RA and sent them back. One pair I had to send back 4 times before changing to a different frame. No luck....break again. Now my most recent purchase of Non RX glasses broke. I threw them away. and will never purchase another pair of SR's.

I was looking for a nice pair of new sunglasses that didn’t cost $200, and I came across an ad on TikTok; I was immediately interested and clicked on the website, and purchased a pair. I got an incredible discount, and they arrived within 5 days! I couldn’t find my shipping number, so I dmed the customer service on Instagram, and I got a response in less than 5 hours! I’m amazed at the quality, the price, and just how phenomenal the customer service was! Thank you shady rays!

The worst sunglasses I've ever owned. The frames are flimsy but the worst part is the lenses. They were scratched and discolored all over after only a few light uses. I have sunglasses that are almost 10 years old that are in better shape than these were after a few uses. And the worst part? The "free replacement" costs $15, which is more than these are worth to begin with. No thanks.

Great glasses for the price! I finally decided to order some new glasses and thought I would give these a shot and so far, I love them. The quality is nice, and the price is more what I would consider paying for a good pair of sunglasses. The only issue I have and reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because when I received the glasses the bridge and part of the frame around the lenses looks like it was scratched across some rough sandpaper or concrete aside from that though they are great.

Fantastic customer service, quality sunglasses, and arrived much faster than expected! Since I had purchased prescription sunglasses I knew it would take a little longer to make and ship. I was able to completely customize what I wanted and once I submitted my order I got an email the next business day asking to confirm my script and letting me know it takes 7-10 days. They replied to me within the next few hours letting me know they were being processed. My sunglasses arrived and everything was perfect and I’m excited to order another pair soon. Very impressed with the company and will continue to do business here!

Lenses will not stay in. Bought cotton gloves strictly for the purpose of putting the lenses back in the frames. Frame broke, emailed shady rays and was told it was about 15.00 to get a new pair. That 15.00 is more than enough to cover the costs of new frames and shipping. The polarized lenses are decent the frames are from the Dollar Store. The free warranty is less than honest.

I bought x series sunglasses. According to the information on the website, the sunglasses should be xl size. They're not, they're too narrow. I consulted the service before purchasing. My old xl sunglasses are over 1cm wider. No offers for bigger people and misleading.

They charge you a $14 processing fee for their “free” replacement pair! I really liked my shady rays, what swayed me to buy these was the deal for a free replacement pair. But that’s very misleading and I’ll never buy from them again.
